Wholesale candles,
discount candles, or one at a time - what's the best
buy?
There's a strong overlap between
discount candles and wholesale candles - naturally.
What you buy of course depends on "why" you buy.
And "why" in turn leads on to "how" you buy.
The discounters and the wholesalers both offer more for your
money; the major difference is that the wholesalers expect to
sell in larger quantities, while the discounters usually focus
on price and a reduced range....
Sometimes, of course, sellers simply use the words
"wholesale" or "discount" to signal that their product is cheap
or at least being sold at a reduced price, and there is no
minimum quantity involved at all.
When to go for wholesale candle
supplies
- However,if you're planning a massed display (or perhaps
inviting a lot of guests), then a decision to look at the
genuine wholesalers (or at the very least to buy discount
candles) is probably the right one.
- But if the events you're planning are more intimate,
then smaller quantities, smaller sizes and more variety are
the right way to go.
Fortunately, quantities generally have very little impact on
your ability to choose exactly what you want. Most of the
larger outlets place no minimum limit on the quantities you can
order.
In fact, many suggest that when you order something new for the
first time, you should order the minimum to make sure it is
exactly what you want before committing yourself to a larger
quantity.
This suggestion makes particular sense when dealing with those
companies (and there are a number of them in the wholesale
and/or discount areas) who will not accept returns.
There is always a trade-off somewhere along the line. Make sure
you read the fine print before parting with your money!
That said, there is virtually nothing in the candle line that
you cannot buy wholesale, or at reduced prices.
